Motorcoach Drivers Hold 2nd Annual MRO Community Cook-off

The 2nd Annual MRO Community Cook-off was held in the playground of the Driver/Owner Motorcoach Compound of Talladega Superspeedway on Thursday, October 4. The event featured several NASCAR motorcoach drivers creating tantalizing entrées and deserts. Judges included: Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey, ISC Chief Guest Services Officer Dean Kurtz, NASCAR Managing Event Director David Hoots and Dr. Charles Nicholson, a retired surgeon from Concord, NC and a very special friend of MRO.

The winners were: Grand Champion: Deb Haase - Motorcoach driver for Hendrick Motorsports (Baby Back Ribs)

Best Taste: Scott Glasco - Motorcoach driver for JJ Yeley (Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream)

Best Presentation: Deb Haase - Motorcoach driver for Hendrick Motorsports (Wine Chicken)

Best Main Dish: Deb Haase - Motorcoach driver for Hendrick Motorsports (Baby Back Ribs)

Best Dessert: Darlene Cash - Motorcoach driver for Mike Ford
